Texas Sheet Cake Buttermilk. Blend well and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. In a small bowl or measuring pitcher, combine buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla.
Sift confectioners' sugar and add to cocoa and buttermilk mixture along with vanilla. Stir in sour cream, almond extract, buttermilk and eggs in that order with a spoon. Pour over flour mixture, and stir lightly to cool.
Combine butter, water, and cocoa powder for cake in a saucepan over medium heat.
Texas sheet cake is a favorite at our house, so I make it a lot.
