Simple Crab Cake Recipe. Mix crabmeat, eggs, mayonnaise, red and green bell peppers, parsley, baking powder, Worcestershire sauce, and seafood seasoning in a large bowl until blended. In a skillet, heat butter and oil over medium heat.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Gently fold in the drained crab meat and stir until ingredients are combined. Gently stir in crabmeat, being careful not to break up meat.
Gently coat each crab cake in panko breadcrumbs and transfer to parchment lined platter or baking sheet.
Stir in the peppers, seasoning and mayonnaise.
Mix together the egg mixture and the crab meat mixture. Easy Southern Style Blue Crab Cakes. This will allow the crab cakes to firm up and prevent them from cracking or breaking up in the pan.
