Moist Apple Cake Recipe. Pierce surface of cake in several places with a large fork. Note~this batter is VERY stiff, don't worry, it's suppose to be that way.
If the cake is cool, the glaze will just drip down the sides and onto the plate.
Then, in the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add room temperature sour cream and mix until combined. Sift the flour with the baking powder then add to the mixture in the bowl a little at a time along with the softened butter. Check by inserting a fine skewer into the cake.
