Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies. Add coconut + chocolate chips: Fold in coconut flour, toasted shredded coconut (if using) and dark chocolate chips. Press the dough into one large ball, then break off.
Beat in the egg and vanilla, beating until creamy. Remove from the oven and let the cookies settle before eating! In the bowl of a stand mixer (or a large bowl using a hand mixer) beat together the tahini, coconut oil, maple syrup, coconut sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
Stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl a few times if needed.
Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract and continue beating until smooth.
I simply believe in real food, and this is some really delicious real food, with enough sugar and butter to satisfy any sweet tooth. It will be crumbly, not creamy. Add it to a larger bowl with the melted (and cooled) butter, vanilla, tahini and sugars.
