Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies
Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies. Mix in the flour, milk powder, salt, baking powder, and baking soda until just combined. The cookies should be lightly golden on the outside but still look quite gooey on the inside.
Mix the egg and vanilla in the measuring cup you used for the sugar and add to the mixture. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. I like to use my trusty KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but a hand mixer will work too.
Add the sugars and stir until the mixture is smooth.
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk in the egg, then the egg yolk. Watch "Twins That Cook" Aria & Maya Christian show you how to make their spin on chocolate chip cookies with brown. Brush the outside of the logs with the beaten egg and roll them in the demerara sugar (this is for those really delicious, crisp edges).
