Simple Vanilla Cake Recipe. In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pour the batter in a baking dish.
Add confectioners' sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and salt with the mixer running on low. Pour into a lightly greased tin of preferred size lined with non-stick baking paper and bake for specified time (see tin variations below) or until cooked when tested with a skewer. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add eggs and beat well, scraping down sides of bowl as necessary.
