Microwave Mug Cake Recipe. This little gluten free Chocolate Chip Mug Cake is perfect for one (or two if you want to share!). Remove mug from microwave and add all the remaining ingredients: sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, milk, vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
Add the cake mix, water, apple sauce and your preferred add-in and stir this until smooth.
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large microwave-safe mug; stir in milk, canola oil, water, and vanilla extract.
You want enough head space for the cake to rise without pouring over. Stir until the ingredients are well combined and you have a fairly thin batter. Mix the batter with a fork until smooth.
